University Professor Emeritus Athanasios Papoulis, a prominent author and passionate educator for four decades, died April 25 in Huntington, Long Island.
He was 81.
Born in Greece in 1921, Papoulis received degrees in electrical engineering and mathematics at the National Technical University in Athens and the University of Pennsylvania.
