Jayanan Vincent is a veteran Indian cinematographer born on 12 September 1959(Aged 57). Vincent has captured nearly 200 films in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Punjabi and Bollywood travelling from the Black and White era to the Digital era.
He is the son of legendary Cinematographer/Director late Aloysius Vincent & elder brother of promising ace cinematographer Ajayan Vincent.
He was born in Calicut, Kerala. His grandfather George Vincent was the first man in Calicut to have his own modern kind of studio called ‘Chitra Studio’.

He started working as an apprentice in camera department for the film Jyothi (1976). After some struggle, he debuted as a cinematographer in 1978 film Anappachan. Although the film was a flop Vincent found some well-wishers in the industry.
After that, Vincent starts to get more chances & ultimately claim his breakthrough for his excellent Camerawork in 1980 Blockbuster Guru, featuring Kamal Haasan.
